Ingredients

1 c. oleo (2 sticks)
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. anise oil
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream eggs, sugar and oleo.
Add soda, cream of tartar, oil and vanilla, then add flour.
Make into big balls; chill 1 or 2 hours.
Flour and cut out.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 4 to 6 minutes.
