Chili Sausage Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. biscuit baking mix
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. milk
    2 lb. pork sausage (hot or mild)
    1 1/2 to 2 c. chopped green chili, toasted and peeled or canned
Preparation
    Cut margarine or butter into baking mix; refrigerate 30 minutes. Mix sausage and green chili; let stand to room temperature. Divide dough in 1/2; roll each piece to a large rectangle 1/4-inch thick. Spread meat chili mixture over dough; roll up as a jelly roll. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for 1 hour. Remove from freezer and slice to 1/3 inch thickness. Freeze until ready to use. Remove from freezer and place on baking sheet. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
