Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. hot water
2 sticks margarine
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 eggs
1 c. pecans
1 c. dates or raisins
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. each cinnamon, cloves, allspice

Preparation

Dissolve soda with hot water.
Mix other ingredients in order. Drop by teaspoons on baking pan about 3-inches apart.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 25 minutes.
