Chocolate Christmas Treats - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 (1 oz. each) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate.
    Add sugar and milk.
    Keep heating and stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in oats, nuts and vanilla.
    Allow mixture to cool to medium warm. Roll teaspoonfuls into balls.
    Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets. Chill until firm.
    Makes about 6 dozen.
