Potato Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed potatoes (hot, no seasoning)
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    3 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add melted butter to sugar.
    Add eggs and mashed potatoes. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk.
    I refrigerate these for several hours (even overnight).
    Roll 1/2-inch thick; cut and deep fry.
