Becky'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. syrup
    3 Tbsp. peanut butter (crunchy is better)
    nuts (add if wanted)
Preparation
    Boil to small ball stage in 3-quart pan.
    Beat with mixer until mixture cools a little.
    (Starts to cool to side of pan somewhat.)
    Add nuts (optional).
    Pour into an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 13-inch pan if recipe is doubled.
