Sandies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted all-purpose (plain) flour
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add water and vanilla.
Mix well. Blend in flour and nuts.
Chill for 4 hours.
Shape in balls or fingers.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 about 20 minutes. Remove from pan; cool slightly.
Roll in confectioners sugar. Makes about 3 dozen.
