Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. pineapple preserves
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 to 1 c. Angel Flake coconut (optional)
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time beating after each.
Add preserves and vanilla.
Add dry and wet ingredients alternately beginning and ending with flour.
Mix just enough to wet all of flour.
Do not overbeat.
Pour in well greased and well floured tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 about 1 1/2 hours. Cool on rack 15 minutes.
Remove from pan and wrap in foil to keep moist.
