Easy Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. shortening or oleo
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add milk.
    Spread in bottom of a baking pan.
    Spread 2 cups of unsweetened fresh cherries.
    Cover with 2 cups of sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until dough is done.
