Ritz Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, whipped stiff
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    20 Ritz crackers (2.5 oz.)
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until very stiff.
    Gradually add sugar to stiff egg whites, then add baking powder and vanilla.
    Continue beating mixture at least 3 minutes; set aside.
    Crush crackers and walnuts thoroughly (a food processor with plastic blade works well); combine.
    Fold the cracker mixture into the egg white mixture.
    Spread into an 8-inch pie pan, greased with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Top with whipped cream.
