Mom'S Biscuits And Fluffy Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. oleo
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together.
Cut in oleo until fine.
Add milk.
Mix to form soft dough.
Knead about 10 times on a floured board.
Roll and cut out biscuits.
Let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
May also drop by spoonfuls into boiling chicken broth.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 15 minutes for chicken and dumplings.
