Chopped Pickle Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large cucumbers
    8 green peppers
    10 medium onions
    4 Tbsp. salt
    5 c. sugar
    5 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    6 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers and peppers lengthwise and remove seeds.
    Grind cucumbers, peppers and onions with a coarse grinder.
    Add salt; let stand overnight.
    Drain.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables.
    Heat to a boil; simmer for 20 minutes.
    Seal in hot sterilized jars.
    Yields 8 pints.
