Peanut Butter Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf sandwich bread
    18 oz. jar creamy peanut butter
    Crisco oil
Preparation
    Trim 4 slices of bread at a time with electric knife.
    Toast trimmings in 200\u00b0 oven until dry and crumble into fine crumbs, about like coarse meal.
    Cut bread into sticks and toast in oven at 200\u00b0 until dry and brittle.
    Add Crisco oil to peanut butter until it has a consistency of a thick syrup.
    Dip dry bread sticks in peanut butter.
    Roll into crumbs and lay on paper towels to dry. Store in airtight container.
