Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. sliced onions
4 c. boiling water
4 beef bouillon cubes
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add onions; cook about 10 minutes, or until light brown in color.
Stir occasionally.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water; add to onions.
Simmer.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
