Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Comstock cherry pie filling (I prefer tart cherries)
    1 can Dole crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. cake mix (I use yellow)
    2 sticks melted butter
    2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
    coconut if desired
Preparation
    Spread cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple over bottom of pan (9 x 13 x 2-inch).
    Sprinkle dry cake mix over cherries and pineapple.
    Drizzle melted butter over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or more until crispy and brown.
