Bohemian Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    all-purpose flour, sifted
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    6 to 8 slices dry white bread
Preparation
    Make a nest
    with the flour in a large round bowl.
    Add milk, eggs
    and
    salt
    to
    center of flour nest.\tMix mixture, adding flour
    as
    you
    go,
    with
    hands
    or
    large spoon until blended together.
    Break
    bread
    slices into 1-inch pieces and drop them one
    at a time into blended mixture until a ball can be made
    from it.
    Do not overwork mixture.
    Make balls about size of
    a baseball.
    Drop
    balls
    into
    boiling
    water
    in a 4-quart or larger pan.
    Boil for 1/2 hour.
    Water must continue to boil. Keep a lid on pan.
