Chicken-Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. broiler chicken
    1 c. water
    1 c. dry sherry
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice
Preparation
    Place chicken in deep kettle.
    Add water, sherry, salt, curry powder, onion and celery.
    Cover and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
    Remove from heat, strain broth (reserve). Cool chicken, debone and cut into bite-sized pieces.
    Wash mushrooms, pat dry.
    Slice and saute mushrooms in butter until brown.
