Mom'S Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, thinly sliced
    4 to 5 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    2 to 3 medium onions, peeled and thinly sliced
    flour
    salt and pepper
    approximately 3 c. milk (whole or low-fat)
Preparation
    In a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, place a few slices of butter. Follow with a layer of potato slices, then layer of onions. Sprinkle with 4 tablespoons flour, salt and pepper, then several pats of butter.
    Repeat layer of potatoes, onions, flour, salt, pepper and butter.
    Add enough milk to cover the entire first layer.
    Cover with foil and cook 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Remove foil and cook another 15 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
