Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
1/2 tsp. soda
salt to taste
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk (approximately)
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Add milk to make batter to desired thickness.
Heat cooking oil or meat grease in a 9-inch pan. Sprinkle dash of corn meal in oil to prevent sticking.
Pour batter into pan and cook at 400\u00b0 to 450\u00b0, about 30 minutes, until done.
