Hungarian Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lukewarm milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 cake compressed yeast
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix together milk, sugar and salt; crumble into this mixture the yeast.
    Stir until yeast is dissolved.
    Stir in egg and shortening.
    Mix in first with spoon, then by hand the flour.
    Add flour in 2 additions, enough to make it easy to handle and soft as possible.
    Knead until smooth and elastic.
    Let rise until double, punch down, turn over and let rise again.
    Cut dough into pieces the size of walnuts.
    Form into balls, roll each ball in melted butter, cinnamon, sugar and nuts.
    Place 1 layer of balls in well-greased 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with raisins.
    Add layer; sprinkle with more raisins.
    Let rise 45 minutes.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Loosen from pan; invert so butter sugar mixture runs down.
