Ingredients

1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie shell
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares, melted
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder, heaping
1 tsp. vanilla
3 large eggs
1 small Cool Whip
toasted, sliced almonds (optional)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add melted chocolate, cocoa powder and vanilla; blend well.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating for 10 minutes after each addition (total 30 minutes).
Pour into shell and chill at least 4 hours.
Garnish with Cool Whip and toasted sliced almonds, if desired.
