Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. persimmon pulp
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

Stir flour, soda and spices
together.
Combine sugar, pulp, half of flour mixture and milk.
Add remaining flour, melted butter, vanilla and raisins.
Spread softened butter on bottom and sides of 1-quart baking dish.
Pour batter into dish and spread with a spatula.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Serve hot with whipped cream.
