Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups white sugar
    4 teaspoons cocoa
    3/4 cup butter or margarine
    1 cup raisins
    5 eggs (fold whites last)
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1/2 cup nuts
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 cup hot mashed potatoes
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; put in egg yolks, then mashed potatoes. Put spices, cocoa, and baking powder in flour.
    Put soda in buttermilk and alternate with dry ingredients.
    Add raisins and nuts.
    Fold in egg whites last.
    Grease and flour 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool.
    Frost with Caramel Frosting.
