German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. peeled and diced apples
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisin
Preparation

In large bowl, cream first 3 ingredients.
Add the rest of ingredients to first 3 and hand mix well.
Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 40 minutes.
Recipe may be doubled and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan.
