Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and egg yolks.
    Sift together in another bowl all dry ingredients.
    To main mixture add alternately the sour cream and dry ingredients.
    Mix very well.
    Loosely fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Done when toothpick in center is clean.
