Super Southern Gal Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 stick margarine or 1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift together the first 5 ingredients.
    Cut in the margarine or shortening until crumbly.
    Add the milk; beat in the egg. Knead 5 to 10 times.
    Roll 1-inch thick; cut for biscuits.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
