Green Tomato Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 1/2 lb. green tomatoes
    4 lb. apples, peeled and put through grinder or cut in small pieces
    1 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. white sugar
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 oranges (grated peels and pulp)
    1 lemon (grated peels and pulp)
    1 1/2 pkg. raisins (1 seeded and 1/2 seedless)
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 large can crushed pineapple (add last)
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 Tbsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cut tomatoes in small pieces or grind (I put them through food chopper).
    Bring to a boil in cold water 3 times, draining off water each time.
    Add all other ingredients, except pineapple. Cook slowly about 3 hours or until done.
    Add pineapple last 5 minutes.
    Put into hot sterile jars and seal.
    May process in hot water bath for 20 minutes.
