Rich Shortcake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients (flour through salt).
    Cut in margarine.
    Combine egg and milk; add to dry ingredients.
    Stir until moist.
    Knead gently on floured surface a few times.
    Pat out to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut and bake on ungreased sheet 10 minutes at 450\u00b0.
    Add pecans and raisins (English style).
