Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together until very smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat just until yellow is all through the mixture. Add flour, one cup at a time, beating only until mixed after each cup. Add vanilla. Stir until stirred in.
    Spoon into tube pan and cook at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
