Cottage Cheese Muffins - cooking recipe

1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. cornflakes
1 egg
1 c. cottage cheese
2 1/3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. quick oats
4 Tbsp. melted fat
1 c. milk
Preparation

Sift the first 5 ingredients into bowl and mix in oats and cornflakes.
Beat egg yolk; add fat, cheese and milk.
Pour liquid mixture into a \"well\" in the dry ingredients and beat.
Fold in the beaten egg whites.
Bake in muffin tins in a slow oven at 300\u00b0, about 1 hour.
