Ingredients

1 1/2 gal. vinegar
1 1/2 gal. water
1 box salt
whole okra pods
1 tsp. dill seed
2 cloves garlic
1 jalapeno pepper (or any hot pepper)
Preparation

Pour hot vinegar solution over okra, etc. in the jar.
Seal; do not crowd okra in the jar.
It takes at least three weeks to pickle and get crisp.
