Frosted Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving 3 tablespoons juice.
    Set pineapple aside; set juice aside for frosting.
