My Grandmother'S Slaw(No Fat - Low Calorie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. finely grated green cabbage (I chop mine in the food processor)
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Stir vinegar and sugar into finely grated (or chopped) cabbage.
Then use your hands to squeeze the mixture over and over for about 2 minutes.
The bruising of the cabbage allows it to absorb the vinegar mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.
