Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. Wesson oil
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    4 eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix soda in small amount buttermilk.
    Mix together bran, flour, sugar and salt; add slightly beaten eggs.
    Add oil, rest of buttermilk and soda solution.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Let stand until thickened.
    Will keep in refrigerator up to 2 months.
    When ready to bake, pour into muffin tins lined with paper.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
