My Best Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 onion, minced
    1/4 c. grated green pepper, finely chopped
    2 lb. ground chuck beef
    1 c. rolled oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. tomato juice
    3 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. horseradish
Preparation
    Melt Spry in skillet.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Fry about 10 minutes.
    Combine all remaining ingredients except catsup.
    Add onion and mix thoroughly.
    Pack in 5 x 10-inch Spry coated loaf pan.
    Spread catsup on top.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour. Serve hot or cold.
    Makes 8 servings.
