English Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup vinegar
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 tbsp. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    2 oz. diced pimento peppers
    12 oz. can shoe peg corn, drained
    17 oz. can English peas, drained
    1 cup celery, chopped fine
    1 cup onion, chopped fine
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients and boil one minute.
    Cool and pour over the remainder of ingredients.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
