Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1 c. mashed banana
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat sugar and shortening together until creamy.
Add beaten eggs.
Mix baking powder, soda, salt and flour together.
Add these alternately with buttermilk and bananas into sugar mixture. Add vanilla and pecans.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
