Cheese Straws - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
3 Tbsp. cold water
3 to 4 tsp. red pepper
Preparation

Sift flour and baking powder into bowl.
Cut in butter, cheese and red pepper as for pie crust using a pastry blender or 2 knives.
Add water and mix well.
Fill cookie press, using star plate.
Form straw on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for approximately 8 to 10 minutes in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
Remove from cookie sheet immediately to cooling rack.
