Old Fashion Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
5 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
flour

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add egg.
Combine soda and flavoring to milk.
Add this to butter, sugar and egg mixture.
Add enough flour to make a stiff dough.
Roll as thin as possible.
Cut cookies with round cookie cutter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until lightly browned.
