Oven Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer, cut up
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    In skillet, brown slowly
    in
    salad oil, one fryer, cut up. Place in 12 x 8
    x
    2-inch
    baking dish.
    To skillet, add onion and celery; cook until tender.
    Add catsup, water, lemon juice, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and prepared mustard. Simmer 15 minutes
    and
    skim
    off
    excess fat.
    Pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at
    325\u00b0
    for
    1
    1/4 hours or until done, basting 3 or 4 times.
    Serves 4.
