Hotel Sunlight Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cakes Fleischmann's yeast
1/4 c. butter
2 c. hot water
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
8 c. flour or more
Preparation

Pour hot water over butter and let cool.
Add sugar and salt, then half of the flour. Add beaten eggs, then the remaining flour and yeast (which has been dissolved in 1 cup cold water).
Beat thoroughly and let stand 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator or overnight.
Before needed, take out of the refrigerator and put in pans; let rise until double in size.
Bake in moderate oven about 20 minutes.
