Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt.vinegar
    1 pt. water
    4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. all-spice
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Bring ingredients to a boil.
    Cook beets and slip the skins off.
    Cut up and put into jars.
    Pour hot liquid over beets and seal.
    Process jars in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
    Makes approximately 10 pints.
