Currant Scones - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
5.33 oz. can evaporated milk
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. currants
sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Blend well.
Using fork etc., cut butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in currants.
Combine milk and egg; add all at once, stirring just until moist.
