Bacon Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. hot mashed potatoes
    2 c. cubed American cheese
    4 strips bacon, fried and coarsely crumbled
    1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
Preparation
    Place half the mashed potatoes (freshly cooked) in a well buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle with half the cheese, bacon and onion.
    Cover with remaining potatoes.
    Repeat topping of cheese, bacon and onion.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
