Macmurray Frozen Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries
    1/2 pt. whipping cream or 2 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Roll wafers into crumbs.
    Cream powdered sugar and margarine; add eggs, nuts and strawberries.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Put a layer of crumbs in bottom of pan; pour in mixture and sprinkle balance of crumbs over top.
    Freeze for at least 24 hours.
