Broiled Coconut Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
    1/4 c. light cream or evaporated milk (undiluted)
    1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 c. flaked or shredded coconut
Preparation
    In small bowl, combine all ingredients.
    Spread evenly over top of hot 8-inch or 9-inch square cake.
    Run under broiler, 4 inches from heat, 2 to 3 minutes, or until topping is bubbly and golden.
    Cool cake in pan on wire rack; serve slightly warm.
