Chocolate Ganache - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. heavy cream
10 oz. semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped (2 c.)
Preparation

Gently warm the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until small bubbles begin to appear at the edges.
Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate until mixture is smooth and the chocolate has melted completely.
Do not stir so vigorously that bubbles form.
If there are any visible lumps, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
