Fresh Prune Or Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk (approximately)
sugar
cinnamon
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, sugar and baking powder together twice.
Put in large mixing bowl.
Add eggs, beating well. Add just enough milk to make a firm batter.
Put batter in a 12 x 18-inch greased pan.
Split prunes and place halved prunes in rows on dough, pressing in lightly. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for about 10 more minutes until done.
