Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. sugar (separated)
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Set aside.
    In a large bowl with electric mixer, beat shortening until fluffy.
    Gradually beat in 1 1/2 cups sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Gradually beat in flour mixture.
