Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. broccoli spears
    3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 c. minced onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. cream or half and half
Preparation
    Cook broccoli until tender in water; cool.
    Then puree broccoli and cooking water in blender.
    Melt margarine.
    Saute onion in it until transparent.
    Blend flour into margarine and onion mixture; cook until foamy.
    Stir in milk.
    Gradually bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
